Monocacy Farm Project The MFP seeks to model stewardship and care of the earth, foster community involvement, provide educational opportunities, and serve the needs of the poor.

The Monocacy Farm Project is a non-profit educational farm initiative that grows and freely distributes fresh, healthy produce through our partners in the emergency food system including area soup kitchens, food pantries and other organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley. The MFP includes a “pick-your-own” program, community gardens, educational programming for all ages and abilities, and a variety of volunteer opportunities that engage youth and adults.

Hello from the Farm! We hope you're enjoying this beautiful Fall weather! 🍂

PICK-YOUR-OWN will be taking place tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, October 7th at the Monocacy Farm Project, from 10am-12pm, and we hope you'll stop by! We have an extra special treat this week too! 🙂

Rebecca from Brittany Natural Foods will be on-site with Homemade, Grab and Go, Monocacy Farm Project VEGGIE SOUP, and BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP - made with vegetables from the Farm!

🌶️ On the Farm, we will have available for picking: FLOWERS, CABBAGE, KALE, CARROTS, LETTUCE, SCALLIONS, HOT PEPPERS, SWEET PEPPERS, PARSLEY, SAGE, CILANTRO, BASIL, DILL, OKRA, EGGPLANT, AND THE FINAL TOMATOES FOR THE SEASON! 😋

🧄 We will also have *PRE HARVESTED*: GARLIC, WINTER SQUASH, and PUMPKINS

🌻 Note - If you're stopping by the Farm, use the gravel road entrance that runs parallel to the Monocacy Farm Project fence (just up the road a bit from the main entrance) - at the intersection of Cross Creek Rd. and Bridle Path Rd. in Bethlehem, PA.

Hi everyone! "Lettuce" recommend, you stop by the Monocacy Farm Project tomorrow, Saturday October 3rd, for PICK-YOUR-OWN, from 10am-12pm! 🙂 AND, the Penn State Extension Open Gate Farm Tour will be happening too! See details below....

🌶️ Available for picking: LETTUCE, OKRA, EGGPLANT, SWEET PEPPERS, HOT PEPPERS, SCALLIONS, KALE, CARROTS, CABBAGE, FLOWERS, TOMATOES, AND HERBS! 😋

After Saturday, TOMATOES are pretty much gonna be done for the season - so be sure to stop by and grab some!

🧅 We will also have *PRE-HARVESTED*: ONIONS, GARLIC, BUTTERNUT SQUASHES, HONEYNUTS, and HUBBARDS!

ALSO, the Penn State Extension Open Gate Farm Tour will take place. We are participating on SATURDAY ONLY, from 12pm-5pm. The Farmers will be giving TOURS of the Monocacy Farm Project and answering your questions!

Hi everyone! We made the decision to unfortunately CANCEL Sunday's 11th Annual Monocacy Farm Fall Festival fundraising event, due to the weather. ☂️ 😕

BUT... We have so much great produce at the Monocacy Farm Project right now, that we're going to still have fresh produce from the Farm, pre-harvested and ready to go on Sunday (September 27th), from 11am-4pm. So, stop on by!

We will have Pre-Harvested: TOMATOES (Slicing, Sauce, and Cherry), SWEET & HOT PEPPERS, ONIONS & GARLIC, WINTER SQUASH, CARROTS, CABBAGE, OKRA, and ZUCCHINI - ALL from the Farm! 😀 🍅 🌶️ 🧅 🧄 🥕

AND, we'll have some FOOD ITEMS available from a local vendor, while you grab some farm produce - including a soup made with produce from the Monocacy Farm Project! 🙂

The Farmers will be around to answer your produce and farming questions too. 😀

Hello there! We wanted to let everyone know we will NOT be having Pick-Your-Own this Saturday, September 26th, as we're busy gearing up for our 11th Annual Monocacy Farm Fall Festival, taking place this Sunday, September 27th! 😀

At the Festival on Sunday, we will have produce available from the Farm - so make sure to stop on by! 🍅 🧅 🌶

We're gearing up for our next annual fundraising event - the 11th Annual Monocacy Farm Fall Festival, taking place next Sunday, SEPTEMBER 27th, from 11am-4pm! We very much hope you will MARK YOUR CALENDARS and stop by!😃More details coming soon! But check out this beautiful Cover Crop field, that will be turned into a COVER CROP MAZE for the Festival!

Also, PICK-YOUR-OWN takes place tomorrow, Saturday, SEPTEMBER 19th on the Farm, from 10am-12pm, and we hope you'll stop by!
