If you’re curious what the two new boys look like, here are Otto and Fossor! They will officially be badged at the opening ceremony at 12 noon on September 20th at Bridles & Badges, our open house.
……….
Otto is a four-year-old, 17-hand grey Percheron/Thoroughbred cross, sponsored and named by Moravian Village of Bethlehem. He is named after Dr. John Otto, one of the first Moravian physicians in the World Heritage Community, recognizing Moravian's historic commitment to local healthcare.

Fossor is a four-year-old, 16-hand bay Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross, sponsored and named by the David J. Heintzelman Family. “Fossor” is Latin for “Digger,” honoring the family's legacy and David’s father, whose nickname was Digger.
……….
These two balls of energy are rarin’ to get started in their new life as equine officers. Come on out and meet them on the 20th! [Free admission! Although we love your pets, kindly leave them at home. Service dogs welcome. Photo: Stacey Burke.] More info at: https://www.bethlehemmountedpolice.org/shop
