**SPECIAL TRAVEL UPDATE**

For our friends who travel to the market via Hecktown Road: Hecktown Road (from Brodhead Road to Drift Court, north of Green Pond Road) will be CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION, effective immediately, to replace the Hecktown Road bridge over Route 22. A detour will be posted to divert traffic using Green Pond Road to Country Club Road to Hecktown Road.

A big treat for this week's The Farm Market at NCC - the students from NCC's culinary program will be cooking up a special menu featuring BBQ meats, tasty sides and luscious desserts!

The meat selections include grilled flatiron steak, chicken fried pork chops, BBQ wings and ribs.

They'll be at the market from 10 am - 1:30 pm; you can eat your selection in the Quad (there are tables available) or take it to go.

We'll be in our usual spot on the Bethlehem Quad from 10-2 (rain or shine), with these other great vendors:

Growing - growing - and coming to your table via The Farm Market at NCC!

In addition to fresh offerings from Hahn Acre Bushel and Bloom LLC and Scholl Orchards, our market will soon feature tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and other tasty veggies grown right at The East 40 Farm on NCC's Bethlehem campus.

Check out all the tasty goodness on Wednesday from 10-2 at NCC's outdoor Quad. In addition to our usual market fare, the students from NCC's culinary program will be offering a fun Summer BBQ (from 10-1:30)!

Mark your calendar! The culinary students at Northampton Community College are presenting a special BBQ at The Farm Market at NCC on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Stop by the Bethlehem campus' Quad between 10-1:30 for tasty BBQ favorites including ribs, wings, sides and desserts. No pre-orders needed, and you can eat it there or get it to go.

It will be a fun way to celebrate summer - and plan a stop to with our other Farm Market vendors. 🍅🥖🌻

We are almost at the end of our Summer Semester! To celebrate, Chef John's students will be putting on a BBQ at The Farm Market at NCC on Wednesday, August 12th. From 10:00am-1:30pm come and get an assortment of BBQ favorites and support our Culinary students!

Items will be priced a la carte as well as bundles with Mains, Sides, and Desserts 😀

As we kick off a favorite time of the year - - we're here with this timely reminder!

When you , directly from the farmers, you can talk to them about their growing practices. You know it's fresh. You know it's a short trip from that farm to your table. And you have the knowledge that your food dollars are staying in our local economy, not going to a far-off corporation.
