Living with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, or Long COVID can take a toll on mental health. These are not mental health conditions. They are complex physical illnesses. The strain comes from isolation, stigma, and not being believed.

✨ Being doubted, dismissed, or left without proper care can deeply affect emotional wellbeing.

Professor Ponting will share insights from the DecodeME study and his ongoing Sequence ME & Long Covid research — exploring what genetics can tell us about ME/CFS, and whether a blood test for diagnosis could be on the horizon.
