Good Evening, K.C.N.E Community!
We hope this message finds you and your families in good health and high spirits.
On behalf of the Interim Chairlady, Hon. Lewtine Ojiem Simba, the K.C.N.E organization would like to address the following important updates:
1. Mental Health Awareness
As May comes to an end, we reflect on Mental Health Awareness Month—a time dedicated to acknowledging the impact of mental illness. Mental health challenges affect many within our community, and we want to remind everyone—members and non-members alike—that mental illness is real, and your well-being matters.
We encourage all our amazing community members to take a moment to pause, reflect, and prioritize self-care. Whether it's taking a break, speaking with someone, or simply breathing deeply, every act of self-kindness counts.

2. Congratulations to Our Graduates!
K.C.N.E proudly celebrates all our members and community members who have graduated with Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, and Ph.D. degrees.
On behalf of the entire organization and community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations. Your hard work and dedication have led you to this remarkable achievement. As you step into the next chapter of your life, may you carry with you the values and principles gained through your educational journey.
We are excited to see the great things you will accomplish in the future. Stay tuned for an upcoming community graduation celebration happening next month!
3. Upcoming Activities and Community Engagement
For those who may not yet be aware, K.C.N.E does not operate in chapters. Instead, we are finalizing a new organizational blueprint, in alignment with our constitution, to better serve our large community across the Northeast U.S.A.
In the coming weeks, we will be meeting with individual groups to improve our engagement and recognition efforts. These include:
Birthdays
Baby Showers
Graduations
And more!
We encourage all members to continue supporting each other and building our strong, united community. No one should feel left behind. If you’re a Kenyan or part of the broader African community and need support, please reach out using the landing page above—we are here to help.
With Warm Regards,
Lewtine Ojiem
