Six Lehigh students sat on ACM's Internship Panel on 9/30 and shared how they got their internships.

Will Tang '27, Oracle
Anisha Dasgupta '27, Lutron
Kevin Cho '27, IBM
Amanda Fogel '27, PPL
Sejal Patel '28, NJM
Eleanor Adams '29, NASA

Their networking advice was simple. Talk to the people around you, like a professor, a friend's parent or someone you meet by chance. LinkedIn is one piece of it.

They also said to apply even when you don't feel fully qualified. Ask questions and try things outside your comfort zone. That's how a lot of them got started.

Thanks to for hosting and to Anya Srivastava for the photos.

CSE and CSB students met yesterday for an insightful CS internship panel to hear firsthand from peers who spent their summer coding, collaborating and innovating across many industries. From navigating technical interviews to handling real-world codebase architecture and cross-functional team workflows, our student panelists shared invaluable takeaways on how to turn classroom concepts into industry impact.

A huge thank you to our panelists- Kristen Gallagher CS'27, Kate Manning CSB '27, Gabe Kagwanja CS '27 and Sean Abarca CS'28-for sharing their journeys and helping the next wave of developers prepare for what's ahead! And many thanks to Olivia Bellinzoni, CSB '29 for organizing and moderating the panel!
