✨️The Wonder Of HIS Word✨️
This morning reminded me of just how intentional and near God truly is. 🙌🏻
I had posted something yesterday and my friend Heather commented with words that encouraged my spirit. She said:
“He will put people alongside you to help you through.”
A few moments later, I picked up my Bible and opened right to 1 Chronicles 12 and 13.
And there it was. The very thing Heather said — spelled out on the page.
📖 1 Chronicles 12 — When God Sends the Right People
David was still on the run — not yet crowned king, still in a place of transition, pressure, and uncertainty. And right there, in that vulnerable season, God began to send people to him.
Tribe by tribe, they came. Warriors, archers, leaders — men of courage, strength, and loyalty. Some could shoot arrows with both hands. Some had faces like lions. Others were wise and knew what Israel needed to do.
“Day after day men came to help David, until he had a great army, like the army of God.” – 1 Chronicles 12:22
I sat there in awe, rereading that line. That’s exactly what Heather said to me.
Not a general encouragement — but a word-for-word reflection of what the Scripture was saying.
“God will put people alongside you to help you through.”
And here was David — being helped through.
God didn’t just confirm it — He personalized it.
📖 1 Chronicles 13 — Reverence in the Return
The next chapter carried the weight of God’s holiness. David, full of good intention, wanted to bring the Ark of God back to Jerusalem. But in the excitement, something was missed: God’s instructions.
The Ark was placed on a cart — instead of carried by the Levites as God had commanded. And when Uzzah reached out to steady it, he was struck down. The celebration turned into fear. David paused, overwhelmed by the holiness of God.
“How can I ever bring the Ark of God to me?” – 1 Chronicles 13:12
Even here, I sensed God whispering something deep:
"I am not only present to help — I am present to be honored."
David had help, yes — but he also needed to walk in obedience and reverence. God was drawing near, but His nearness comes with weight.
🌟 The Wonder of His Voice
I share all this not just to talk about David or Heather — but to celebrate the wonder of how God speaks.
Sometimes it’s through a friend’s encouragement.
Sometimes it’s through the living, breathing Word.
But when both align, when His voice echoes across conversations and Scripture — you know it’s Him.
He sees you.
He hears your questions.
He answers before you even ask.
He confirms before you even turn the page.
This isn’t about coincidence. It’s about the wonders of a God who speaks directly to His children.
🙏 If you're feeling alone in your calling…
If you're in transition, waiting, unsure of the next step…
Take heart in this:
God is sending help.
God is speaking clearly.
And God, in all His holiness, is still so very close.
Open your Bible — you just might find that He’s already started the conversation 📖
