On June 3, 2026, Community Health Center advocates from across the country came together in Washington, D.C., to ensure lawmakers hear directly from the communities they serve.
During NACHC's 2026 National Fly-In, advocates met with Members of Congress and their staff to elevate Community Health Center priorities, including protecting 340B, advancing Food for Health initiatives, and strengthening the health care workforce.
Together, advocates conducted more than 70 meetings with congressional offices, sharing firsthand stories about the impact Community Health Centers have on the 52 million people who rely on them for care.
NACHC was also proud to partner with the Food is Medicine Conference (FIMCON) to advance shared priorities at the intersection of nutrition and health policy, highlighting the important role Community Health Centers play in connecting patients to nutrition services, food access programs, lifestyle medicine, and whole-person care.
This year's Fly-In also featured the Care in Motion: Community Health Center Mobile Health Experience on Capitol Hill, where congressional offices from 17 states stepped inside a mobile health unit to see how Community Health Centers are bringing primary care, dental care, behavioral health services, chronic disease management, and more directly into communities.
Thank you to every advocate who traveled to Washington to lend their voice to this effort. Your stories, expertise, and commitment help ensure Community Health Centers remain strong for the patients and communities who depend on them.
