This morning, Kevin Flynn is bringing Mount Vernon to us - no travel required. We’re tuning in from our meeting room at the Bethesda Marriott on Pooks Hill.

We’ll get a look at the impressive restoration projects led by the Ladies of Mount Vernon as they prepare for America’s 250th anniversary. The mansion now features a historically accurate paint color, the outbuildings have been beautifully restored, and a modern visitor center and interactive museum are ready to welcome guests.

Installation of the New Board & Induction of New Members

We’re kicking off the new Rotary year with fresh energy, new goals, and a renewed commitment to serving our community. This week’s meeting is a special one: we will formally install our new Board and proudly welcome two new members into the North Bethesda Rotary Club.

We’ll also hear a 3‑minute talk from Lasse Syversen, adding inspiration to a morning already full of momentum and celebration.

We’re looking forward to a great Friday morning together at the Bethesda Marriott. This week, Victoria Feldman will take us on a fascinating journey into the world of architect Antoni Gaudí - a visionary whose work shaped Barcelona and inspired generations of designers.

We’ll also hear a 3‑minute talk from Melissa Richards, adding another spark of insight to our morning.

✨ Welcome to our first in‑person meeting for July! ✨

We’re excited to have Jon Ward back with us this week - this time as our main speaker. He’ll be sharing insights on “Rotarians as Peacebuilders,” a topic we’re very much looking forward to.

To kick things off, Steve will start the morning with a 3‑minute talk.

We’ll also share highlights from this week’s Board of Directors meeting, and encourage everyone to take a moment to read about the new Rotary Year theme: Create Lasting Impact - a reminder of the difference we can make locally and globally.
