🚨EXPIRED = Youth Protection Training (YPT) on May 31, 2026🚨
🚨OVERDUE = The new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT)🚨

Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced by the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). Every registered leader must have taken SYT by May 31, 2026, to continue to participate in Scouting.

Failure to have taken the course means:
⛔Suspension of your account
⛔No access to Scoutbook Plus
⛔No participation in unit activities as a leader (including meetings, outdoor activities, service projects, summer camp, etc.)

💻Once completed it can typically take 24-48hrs for the course to show on your account.

⚠️If you have not taken the NEW SYT full 90 Minute course, you MUST TAKE THAT FIRST before you can take the refresher to get full SYT credit.

Moments like this are what Scouts remember forever. And behind every great experience is a team of volunteers who make the magic happen. Strong programs start with leaders who invest their time and heart. 👏

Troop 1107 Scouts experienced democracy up close with a visit to the U.S. Capitol as part of their Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge — exploring historic chambers and watching a House debate in action. 🇺🇸

As we recognize America250 throughout the year, experiences like this show how Scouting helps build informed, engaged citizens each and every day.
