The NPA has announced the call for applications for the NPA IMPACT Fellowship Program ("IMPACT") class of 2026-2027.

Launched in 2021, the IMPACT increases access to opportunities for early-career researchers based at U.S. institutions and from marginalized communities to build skills, understand strengths, and develop networks. IMPACT provides participants with access to personal and career resources, along with a cohort of peers, so that they can strategically build upon their existing skills and advance in their careers in the direction they choose.

The NPA is currently seeking a strong, dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable leader to serve as vice chair of the Community Committee. The committee seeks to ensure that all voices within the postdoc community are heard and valued through collaboration, dialogue, and evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the NPA and the postdoc community, along with relevant expertise and understanding of the importance of community in the context of higher education and research environments. In addition, the candidate should be thoughtful, engaged, creative, and collaborative to improve the postdoctoral experience by supporting a culture of inclusive connection.
