The NPA Meetings Committee has two open calls for the 2027 Annual Conference: a combined call for abstracts and a call for applications for NPA Scholarships.

The committee is seeking abstracts for 60-minute concurrent sessions and poster presentations in five distinct tracks: advocacy, building community, international issues, mentoring, and professional development. Abstracts will be accepted through Friday, October 9.

The NPA is offering NPA Scholarships of up to $1,000 to cover meeting registration, lodging, caregiver expenses, and travel-related expenses for postdoctoral scholars to attend the conference. Applications will be accepted through Friday, October 16.

The NPA Excellence Recognition Program was created to highlight excellence throughout the postdoctoral community and enable the sharing of lessons learned and best practices.

As part of this program, the NPA Institutional Policy Awards recognize organizations that have implemented institutional policies and procedures designed to improve the postdoctoral experience. The inaugural awardees were selected for their outstanding overall alignment with the "NPA Recommended Postdoctoral Policies and Practices (2024) (RPPP)."
