As we share this glimpse of Kāvya - Sitaharan from MITR, we are reminded that legacy lives through our dancing bodies. From Gaurima, to Bijayini Didi, and now to us, this piece carries with it a lineage of artistry, knowledge, and passion that has been passed down with such care.

It is an immense privilege to carry this forward, to have learned it from Bijayini Didi herself, and to embody what has been so generously passed down to us, and to allow it to continue finding new life through each generation..

Today, we remember Gaurima with deep love and gratitude, and feel incredibly fortunate to be a small part of carrying her legacy forward... 🤍

And just like that we end another wonderful summer intensive camp with our dearest kishore uncle. 🤍

We are incredibly fortunate to have one of the foremost masters in Kuchipudi Jaikishore Mosalikanti with us each summer. Thanks to our founder, Anuradha Nehru who created this beautiful summer intensive structure, our students (from the youngest to the most senior) have the privilege of learning from someone as great as him and improving in their craft.

His knowledge, patience, and ability to bring out the best in every student are truly invaluable, and we are so grateful for his guidance.
