As the pioneering scientists behind AlphaFold at Google DeepMind, Drs. Hassabis and Jumper transformed biomedical research by applying artificial intelligence to one of biologyโ€™s most enduring challenges: predicting the three-dimensional structure of proteins.

Their groundbreaking work has accelerated advances in drug discovery, disease biology, and molecular medicine worldwide, and was recognized with the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
