Venturing Gives Back to National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)💫

Venturers are often onsite serving for this great training opportunity or coming as participants. This training can be operated as a week or two weekends and has been updated over the years with the base curriculum being developed in this format and name since 2005.

National Youth Leadership Training is a six-day Scouting America council-level program for Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts (typically aged 13-20) designed to teach advanced leadership skills. Operating through a "month in the life" of a unit, it uses experiential learning, games, and team-building to develop leadership abilities for use in home units and daily life. More information can be found from your local council on the requirements to attend and how to register.
