Whitman's Chamber Choir, the music department's most advanced group of male and female singers, performs its final concert of the year next Sunday, June 4. The concert will feature a variety of full choir pieces as well as individual and small group performances by many of the seniors. All are invited to enjoy this free event.

Whitman's Festival of the Arts is NEXT WEEK!

On Wednesday and Thursday 4/26, our choirs and instrumental groups will perform in the cafeteria from 6 until 9 pm. Art will be on display both Wednesday and Thursday evenings; additional student musical acts will perform in "The Venue;" and a variety of food trucks will be available both nights for your dining pleasure.

Please join us one or both nights for the music performances in the cafeteria, and sign up to serve as a docent during one or more of the performances that don't include your student. The docents (formerly known as "shushers") stand in the hall right outside the cafeteria to hand out programs, answer questions, and, crucially, keep the cafeteria doors closed and the hallway quiet once a performance has started (latecomers may be seated between songs).
