Community cupcakes

Community cupcakes CC is an annual charity event to honor the birthday of the late Luke Carter-Schelp Cause, coffers, cupcakes!

Each year, CC partners with a non profit community agency to uplift their cause and raise their coffers. We got our name from a quote of Luke's: " I'll volunteer if they have cupcakes" . We sponsor a staged competition of local student talent and everyone who comes gets a cupcake. Luke's mom, Val Carter, works in collaboration with the Walter Johnson leadership class to host the event.
