There’s something special about bringing people together for health, hope, education, and a whole lot of PURPOSE!

Dr. Sharon will be joining an incredible lineup of medical experts and community voices for the 12th Annual Breast Cancer Benefit: Purpose and Passion in Pink!

Hello Thursday or Whatever Day You See This ☀️💊

Here’s your Dr. Sharon reminder for today—and this is one I need you to DO, not just LIKE!

DO YOU KNOW YOUR MEDICATIONS?

Not “the little white pill.” 😂
Not “the one I take for my pressure.”
Not “my doctor knows.”

YOU need to know!

Know the NAME. DOSE. WHY you take it. AND how you’re supposed to take it.

And I’m talking about EVERYTHING—prescription medications, vitamins, supplements and anything else you take regularly.

TODAY:
Write it down.
📱 Put it in your phone.
👛 Keep a copy in your wallet.
❤️ Give it to someone you trust.
And include your medical conditions and allergies!

Whether you are 22 or 92, this information matters—especially in an EMERGENCY.

And please, TAKE YOUR MEDICATIONS AS PRESCRIBED! If you’re having side effects, can’t afford it, don’t understand why you need it, or simply don’t want to take it—TELL YOUR PRESCRIBER OR PHARMACIST. Don’t just stop or change it on your own.

And let me say this again: your doctor does NOT get paid because they prescribed you a medication! We want the best treatment and outcome for YOU. If there’s a problem, SPEAK UP!

Now here's the part I really want you to do:

Call somebody you love TODAY. Your parent. Grandparent. Auntie. Uncle. Best friend. Ask them if they have an updated medication list—and make sure somebody else knows where it is.

Because an emergency is NOT the time to start figuring this out.

It’s YOUR health. YOUR wellness. OWN IT.
Be informed. Be proactive. BE PREPARED.
