Hero of the Week — Adeline Hogan
Adeline was the female overall winner of our 2025 Superhero 5K, crossing the finish line in 21:35. But when she talks about race day, her time is the last thing she mentions.

She trained with long runs, sprint work, and hill repeats to get ready for race day. But what she remembers most isn't her time. Adeline says:
"Supporting these children in Uganda really opened my eyes to see how much I take for granted — like the roof over my head or the education that I receive. Being able to support them in any way that I could made me feel at least a little bit better to know that I was supporting them in some way."

That's the heart of this race. Thank you, Adeline, for showing up and for sharing your story. You are a true Christalis Hero.

💜🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes on Purple Heart Day.

Today, we pause to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and strength of the brave service members who have been awarded the Purple Heart.

This day serves as a reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices made by those who put our nation before themselves.

We honor their service, remember those who gave everything, and extend our gratitude to their families and loved ones.
