Last Evening’s Chili Supper with Northminster Presbyterian.
What an enriching evening sharing food, company, and conversation with our partner congregation in antiracism work! After dining together, we broke into small groups to discuss selected questions from Interwoven Congregation’s conversation cards. Then we reconvened in a large circle to share, summarize and suggest next steps.

Final Week for Postcard Campaign!
Get Out the Vote Postcards should be mailed this week. Make certain all are written according to instructions, addressed and stamped. BPC volunteers will be mailing 1,200 postcard reminders to vulnerable, less frequent voters in the Houston, Texas area. Campaign sponsored by Center for Common Ground.

Remembering Moses Hogan!
For last Sunday’s special music, BPC choir sang Hogan’s “I Got a Robe,” featuring Devin Osborne as soloist. During his stewardship moment, Paul Dudek described not only Hogan’s musical talents popularizing African American spirituals but also his artistic talents creating cosmograms.
