Many Hands, Lighter Work! 👏 👏

A big thank-you to our friends at Potomac Presbyterian Church! Following their generous school supply drive, they returned to Nourishing Bethesda for an evening of volunteering in our Choice Market. 🤍

With so many helping hands, they made light work of packing bagels, groceries, and weekend food bags for our neighbors in need. 🥕

We’re grateful for Potomac Presbyterian’s continued generosity and commitment to serving our community. Their faithful partnership is a beautiful example of neighbors coming together in love and service!

A BIG thank you to our incredible donors, volunteers, and friends who joined us for our Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors event last week! 🎉

More than 150 supporters packed our Choice Market at the BCC Rescue Squad for a wonderful evening celebrating our work—and the incredible community leaders who helped make Nourishing Bethesda possible. 🥰

We’re especially grateful to County Executive Marc Elrich and Councilmember Andrew Friedson, who each played a key role in establishing Nourishing Bethesda. Thank you for believing in this work and helping build a stronger, more nourished community! 🤍

Organized by Linda Weidman, Vice President & Senior Legal Counsel, Caribbean & Latin America, Linda and her team packed 98 healthy snack bags totaling 62 pounds of nutritious goodies for families in our community.

Talk about stepping up! 💪 🇺🇸 A huge thank you to the Bethesda-based Colonel Tench Tilghman Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for volunteering with Nourishing Bethesda!

Special thanks to chapter officer Jackie Cronin for organizing the crew. They jumped right in, helping stock the Choice Market with eggs and bagels while getting fresh produce and weekend bags ready for deliveries to seniors and students. 🧡💚

And thank you to all the DAR members who donated feminine hygiene products. These essentials make a big difference for women in our community. 🌟

When two non-profits come together with a shared commitment to helping their community, great things happen. 💚🧡

A heartfelt thank you to the Barker Adoption Foundation, our neighbors across the street on Old Georgetown Road, for donating bags with feminine hygiene products, diapers, and more. The Barker Adoption Foundation team hand-painted all of the bags with beautiful fall scenes to make them extra special for our neighbors shopping in our Choice Market.
