🎉 Nourishing Bethesda Turns SIX! 🎉
On August 14, we celebrate six years of Nourishing Bethesda—and six extraordinary years of neighbors helping neighbors.
What began in 2020 as an emergency response to the pandemic has grown into a powerful community effort to ensure our neighbors have access to fresh, nutritious food and the support they need.
Over these six years, thousands of families have walked through our doors, and thousands of volunteers, donors, community partners, businesses, faith communities, and friends have stepped forward to help. Every bag packed, every pound of food rescued, every donation made, and every hour volunteered has mattered.
We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come—but even more grateful for the community that made it possible.
As we begin Year Seven, our commitment is stronger than ever: to nourish our neighbors, strengthen our community, and ensure that no one in Bethesda faces hunger alone.
