As we continue through Maine EMS appreciation week the chief and I would like to thank our community for its continued support in helping our service grow.
Thank you to the Bethel Fire department, the dispatchers, police officers, and other area departments in assisting us with the unknown challenges that can occur on many of the calls we go to.
To our three closest EMS Services - Maine Health Stephens, Medcare, and Stoneham Rescue - please know that we are here for you whenever you need us. We all share the same struggles that are currently facing our ambulance services both financially and emotionally.
Finally, to our crews….. our family❤️❤️
There are truly no words that can express the gratitude that we have for all of you. Each of you are a member of our family and hold a special place in our hearts. From the obnoxious outspoken brother to our many children who we watch grow not only as EMS providers but as young adults making a positive impact in our society. To our knowledgeable sisters, aunts, and uncles we appreciate the advice that you have given along the way. We see you! We see all of you and we will continue to fight for all of you - for fair pay, decent equipment, and the emotional support needed to continue with such a stressful job.
This week is to celebrate who we are, what we have been through, and what is to come. But for our members - our family - we celebrate you, thank you, and are here for you every day!
We care about and love you all
Love,
Rescue Dad and Rescue Mom
P.S. Don’t forget to do your truck checks 🚑
