Happy Thanksgiving! Today and every day, we’re grateful for our vibrant community, the natural places we love, and everyone who helps care for them.

As more and more people come to know and love the Mahoosuc region, it is important to remember that everyone has a role to play in caring for this place and making sure it remains a great place to live and to visit.

Organizations like the Mahoosuc Land Trust, Inland Woods + Trails, and others maintain a growing network of public hiking, biking, and Nordic skiing trails. Our region is also home to popular ski areas such as Sunday River and Mt. Abram, and rich cultural and arts community anchored by the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, Museums of the Bethel Historical Society, and Bethel Area Arts and Music.
