We got a few things planted in the garden this week before all this rain hit. Pray for our region, which is experiencing flooding (even more rain is expected today). Our lake is full -- you can see how far the shoreline has moved by where the benches are in the water!

Your past might list a lot of mistakes, but God’s word rewrites the ending. Rod reminds us that the list of our past struggles isn’t our final destination. If you are in Christ, you aren’t defined by what you used to do—you are washed, sanctified, and justified. The emphasis is on WERE. Your story isn't over! HMRP's PowerBarn services are held every Thursday night at the Freedom House.

It is pretty amazing how God’s timing works when we finally decide to let go of a heavy grudge. Forgiveness isn't easy, and it doesn't mean what happened was okay, but it completely frees your heart from carrying that weight. Tucker had no idea what was coming two weeks later, but stepping out in faith to forgive his father opened the door for absolute peace before it was too late. If you’re holding on to some old hurts or waiting for the right moment to mend a bridge, take this as your sign to just let it go. You never know how God is already working behind the scenes to bring healing to your story, too.
