A couple weeks ago, our assistant chief Griffin Holtom and fire fighter Corey went to Potter two in Beaver county for rural water movement this class is very useful for us being in the area where are water supply is not from fire hydrant Rather it be from a Porta -tank a pond in which we draft from sometimes you got to step outside of your area to learn different tricks that's out there in which we bring back to our department and hopefully pass it on to other departments there is many things we've learned from this class that we've never seen or done that. We are now putting into our operation and changing the way way we do things

The past weekend three members took a forcible entry training in Beaver county this class taught us different techniques on how to conquer different doors in different scenarios we will run into on calls And to help better serve our community

We'd like to thank the Pulaski VFD for showing up to our MVA training last night. It really means a lot seeing each other enhance our skills together and create an even closer bond, not just within our departments, but within our communities. Also, thank you, Del's Garage, for supporting our cause and letting us practice vehicle extraction on your cars.

It's been an extremely busy week of training with multiple departments around the county. During the past week on Monday, we trained with Pulaski and Coitsville doing forceful entry training.

On Wednesday, we assisted North Beaver FD in setting up a live burn that they hosted at the old ESROC building here in Bessemer.

Today we met with Enon Valley, North Beaver, New Beaver, Wampum, and New Castle fire departments for multiple live fire training evolutions.

Our assistant chief went to Mahoning Township for rope rescue training.

All of these trainings help us work closer with our mutual aid to help better serve our communities.

Our firefighters made some new friends today when the Bessemer Presbyterian Preschool came to visit us!! It was so much fun to see the happy faces enjoy learning about fire safety and the smiles when we showed them our trucks and gear. Our guys enjoy doing this so much!! Thank you to our new little friends for the visit come back and see us any time, looking forward to seeing you on trick or treat night!! 👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒🚒

The members of station 400 would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Chief Kevin Peters of the new beaver boro fire department.

Anyone who knew Kevin, knows what a great man, chief, father, and husband he was. Rest easy Chief Peters, we will take it from here.
