Our Brighton Back-to-School Bash was truly a community effort! Because of the generosity and support of our sponsors and partners, we were able to serve over 100 families with bookbags, school supplies, clothing, food, fresh fruits and vegetables, books, helpful resources, and a fun-filled day for our children and families. 🎒📚🍎

🎒✨ Saturday was nothing short of AMAZING! ✨🎒

Our Brighton Back-to-School Bash was a beautiful day of community, connection, and giving back! We had a great turnout and were able to serve over 100 families.

Families received bookbags, school supplies, food, and fresh fruits and vegetables to help prepare for the new school year. This event was much needed, and seeing families come out and receive these resources made the day even more meaningful. ❤️

A special thank you to Councilor Annie Woods and Play It Safe for partnering with The Gatherings Mentoring Networking Outreach Group to bring this event to the Brighton community.

We are also incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, community partners, vendors, and volunteers who helped make the day possible. We’ll be recognizing our amazing sponsors separately because they deserve their own special thank-you! 💜

For us, this was about more than giving away supplies. It was about meeting families where they are, providing needed resources, and showing our children that their community supports them.

The Gatherings, in partnership with Brighton City Councilwoman Annie Woods and Play It Safe, is seeking community resource partners for our Back-to-School Bash!

We’re looking for organizations that provide FREE resources, information, and services to families, including:
