The Berwyn Pride Walk was featured in the Chicago Tribune! Did you know? Cause we sure didn’t.

We just found out that we were mentioned in the paper a few weeks ago in anticipation of the Pride Walk. The article highlighted the collaboration between Bungalo Plus City of Berwyn and Why Berwyn on putting together the event! Thanks again to all who attended!

Huge THANK YOU to all who attended our 2026 Berwyn Pride Walk! This was such an amazing group of people who were out in abundance! Community groups like berwynpublicart Berwyn Historical Society berwyntrees Bike Walk Berwyn Corazón Community Services, ittakesavillage, friendsofthelibrary, Berwyn Roots - a Community Garden Movement Berwyn Public Library were there in full force. (BPAI that art piece is amazing 🙌❤️😱)

Businesses like The Local Flour Stand Cafe Windsor Tap Media Noche Cafe Berwyn Lavergne's Tavern and Cicero Independiente were also proud supporters of the walk and after events as well!

Even though this walk was a coordinated effort between Why Berwyn City of Berwyn and Bungalo Plus the most important part of it was YOU! Everyone who came out to show their love and support for our community that cares for all its residents! THANK YOU! #

Today marks the anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges, the landmark Supreme Court decision affirming the freedom to marry the person you love.

We celebrate this historic victory and remain committed to defending LGBTQ+ rights and standing against extremist attacks on those freedoms. 🏳️‍🌈♥️

Signature Properties Co. is hosting their annual Pride Party this Saturday at 6:00 PM! This fantastic, free event is their way of celebrating pride and continuing their year-round advocacy for our community.

​We love supporting our neighbors, and this gathering is a wonderful opportunity to help connect everyone with some incredible local, LGBTQIAP+-owned businesses. Come out, celebrate, and support local!

Last night the City of Berwyn honored Bungalo+ with a special proclamation during the city council meeting. We are so proud of our community and will continue working to help create an inclusive and welcoming city for all residents.

Actions like this demonstrate why we still need pride events in our community.

Instead of putting up a new sign, we thought it was a great metaphor for the resilience but also the scars that affect so many of our community.
