🌱 The Garden has come to life! 🌱

We are so grateful for every volunteer, Christian (our Corazón intern), and Berwyn Roots for helping transform this space into something beautiful. Your hard work, dedication, and care have made this garden possible!

We’re excited to watch these plants grow and produce amazing food to share with the community. 🌿🍅🥕 May this garden be a place of growth, connection, and blessing for many.

Estamos muy agradecidos por cada voluntario, Christian (nuestro pasante de Corazón) y Berwyn Roots por ayudar a transformar este jardín en algo tan hermoso. ¡Su esfuerzo, dedicación y apoyo hicieron posible este proyecto!

Estamos emocionados de ver crecer las plantas y producir alimentos increíbles para compartir con la comunidad. 🌿🍅🥕 Que este jardín sea un lugar de crecimiento, conexión y bendición para muchos.

Another fun Senior Breakfast today! We started with a devotion and prayer, setting a wonderful tone for the morning. Breakfast followed, accompanied by the musical stylings of Martin as he sang and played guitar. After breakfast we played a variation on Bingo called Fiesta Bingo featuring images instead of numbers, in celebration of Cinco de Mayo this month.

One of the more challenging Bingo patterns was called "Outside Edge" which required covering all the images around the edge of the Fiesta Bingo Card. We used all 36 image cards which led to plenty of excitement and lots of winners!

Everyone went home well fed and with at least one prize! Be sure to follow us so you’ll know when our next event is happening!

¡Otro divertido Desayuno para Personas Mayores hoy! Comenzamos con una reflexión y una oración, estableciendo un tono maravilloso para la mañana. A continuación, disfrutamos del desayuno, amenizado por el talento musical de Martin, quien cantó y tocó la guitarra. Después de desayunar, jugamos a una variante del Bingo llamada "Fiesta Bingo", que utiliza imágenes en lugar de números, para celebrar el Cinco de Mayo este mes.

Uno de los patrones de Bingo más desafiantes se llamaba "Borde Exterior", el cual requería cubrir todas las imágenes situadas alrededor del perímetro de la tarjeta de Fiesta Bingo. ¡Utilizamos las 36 tarjetas de imágenes, lo que generó mucha emoción y un gran número de ganadores!

¡Todos regresaron a casa bien alimentados y con al menos un premio! ¡Asegúrense de seguirnos para enterarse de cuándo tendrá lugar nuestro próximo evento!
