Parking Update for Town of Berwick Parks & Recreation's Saturday Egg-Stravaganza

A quick heads up for families joining us this Saturday: the Sweetser Street parking lot at Memorial Park will be closed due to Town of Berwick Public Works Department's snow removal work that has left the lot muddy and unsafe for parking.

We appreciate your flexibility as we get the park ready for spring. There is still plenty of nearby parking available, including along Sweetser Street, Sullivan Street, the Park & Ride, and the municipal lot.

Please plan a few extra minutes for parking so you can arrive by 9:45am and be ready for the 10:00am start. We’re looking forward to a great morning with everyone.

Got ideas for Berwick’s parks, programs, or events? Step in and help shape what comes next.

Town of Berwick Parks & Recreation is looking for residents to join the Recreation Commission, a small group that works with staff to guide everything from field improvements to community programming.

It’s a simple commitment, one meeting a month, with a real impact on the spaces and activities people use every day.

Whether you’re a regular at the fields, a trail walker, a parent, or someone with ideas about what Berwick could offer in the future, your perspective is valuable.

No prior experience needed. Just a willingness to be part of the conversation.

Applications are available on the Town website or at the Parks & Recreation office.

Apply by May 14, 2026.

Join us for April Adventure Camp!

April vacation is coming up, and Berwick Parks & Recreation has a plan to keep local kids busy.

Registration is now open for April Adventure Camp, running Tuesday, April 21 through Friday, April 24 at Eric L. Knowlton School for students in grades K–8.

Each day runs 9:30am–3:30pm, with optional before-camp care starting at 7am and after-camp care until 5pm.

The week includes two field trips:
Wednesday, campers head to Smitty's Cinema & GameLab Sanford for a movie and lunch, and on Friday the group travels to Hilltop Fun Center for laser tag and more.

When they’re back at home base, the schedule stays packed with color wars, team challenges, DIY projects like slime and tie-dye, LEGO engineering, music, dancing, and daily prizes.

Spots are limited and the bus only holds so many seats, so families are encouraged to register early.

Registration is available now through Town of Berwick Parks & Recreation:
