The Lloyd Williams American Legion Post 41 and Auxiliary, and the Clarke County Memorial VFW Post 9760 and Auxiliary, invite the community to attend the Clarke County Memorial Day Service, “America’s 250th Anniversary.”

Please join us as we honor the fallen service members who gave their lives defending our nation.

Date: Sunday, May 24, 2026
Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Location: Rose Hill Park, Berryville, Virginia
Guest Speaker: Major General Patrick Higby, USAF (Ret.)

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors at Enders Fire Station. A weather decision will be made by 9:00 AM on the day of the ceremony. If you do not hear an update and arrive at Rose Hill Park with no ceremony setup or attendees present, please assume the service has been moved to Enders Fire Station.

Following the ceremony, VFW Post 9760 invites the community to an Open House at the Post Social Hall.

Due to a family emergency, tonight’s House Committee and Buildings & Grounds Committee meeting is postponed.

The meeting is rescheduled for Wednesday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m.
