Thanks to Tim and Terrill Coggins for their generous donation to the Bernice Historical Society. This 1926 Depot Hack is the perfect addition to the Depot Museum and Depot Park.

Now we need to secure a metal building with lift door, walk-in door, windows and concrete pad to house the hack.

Our first goal is to raise $10,000 toward making this a reality.

Donations can be sent to Bernice Historical Society at PO Box 524, Bernice, La. 71222. As always your donations are tax deductible.

Help us to add this piece of history to Depot Park.

Our annual fall meeting was held Sunday afternoon and those attending enjoyed hearing Robin Adams speak on the history of medicine in Bernice. Robin added updates on the progress of our new hospital and took us over to the courtyard to see the memorial walk way.
