We just gave away our last welcome basket, and we need your help to build more. 🧺

When someone arrives at Crossroads Community, they often come with very little. One of the first things we do is provide a welcome basket to help them feel cared for, valued, and at home.

Each basket includes:
A laundry basket
Twin-size bedding
A new pillow
Basic hygiene items
Socks
Towels and washcloths

Would you consider helping us restock these baskets? You can purchase items from our Amazon wish list (in the comments) or drop off donations at the Crossroads office.

Thank you for being part of what God is doing at Crossroads Community!

We want to take some time this week to introduce our incredible staff. First up, Jasmine! She is our administrative assistant and helps our organization run smoothly. We are so thankful for her work!

•Tell us a little about yourself.
I am the second oldest of seven children, four brothers and two sisters. We lived in Oklahoma for the first four years of my life, then we moved back to Indiana, close to my relatives. I was saved by the Blood of Christ in middle school and have been serving him since then and forever. Not long after I received an associate’s degree in accounting, I was recommended to Crossroads Community by a church member. This has by far been my favorite place to work and serve Jesus.

•Coffee or tea?
Hot raspberry tea or Milo’s Sweet tea.

•Favorite hobby outside of work?
Rollerblading and Splitting Wood

•What Bible verse has been especially meaningful to you lately?
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

•What made you say yes to serving here?
A church member connected me to Crossroads Community. I prayed about this position for about a week before I reached out. After hearing about how Crossroads Community serves the community and what my position entailed, I was grateful to be offered such an opportunity.

Tired, grateful, and praising God after our first Men’s Retreat.

Three powerful messages, three home cooked meals, worship, games, laughter, fishing, and meaningful conversations.

We’re thankful for our donors, every speaker, every volunteer, everyone who prayed, and our residents that we have the opportunity to serve.

God is at work at Crossroads Community, and we’re excited to see how the seeds planted this weekend continue to bear fruit in the days ahead. ❤️
