Bernard's Lions Club

Bernard's Lions Club The Bernard's Lions Club is a Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to helping our community. That tradition continues today.

Our Mission Statement

The Lions Club International is dedicated to the improving the quality of life for those with sight impairment both within local club communities and internationally. We, The Bernards Lions Club, fully support the credence of the international organization. The Bernards Lions Club will recognize the needs of the local community as well and will strive to support our Youth, S

eniors, local police/fire/rescue organizations, and individual citizens without prejudice. The Bernards Lions Club will welcome all into the organization who enjoy camaraderie and wish to work towards a better community and world. About our Club

Back in 1963, seven men got together to join forces and volunteered their talents to better our community. But now, both men and women work together to continue a time honored tradtion of service. Lions International's world project of sight is still on our daily planner, but our great community always tops the list of our efforts. Our club has always been a tremendous supporter of our local Senior Citizens and the youth of our community. We helped to grow the Memorial Parade to the size it is today. We also support our Police Department, Fire Company, and assist other organizations throughout the community. The Bernard's Lions Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Cafe Rustica in Basking Ridge at 6:30 pm.

Please join The Bernards Lions Club in proudly honoring Lion Anthony “Chick” Dellorusso for an incredible 50 years of dedicated service.

Chick is one of our Club’s founding members and has spent half a century giving his time, his talent, and his enormous heart to the Bernards and Bernardsville communities. Generous, loyal, and endlessly kind, Chick embodies everything it means to be a Lion. His love for our town is as big as his personality, and his service has touched countless lives over the years.

During our recent meeting, we were truly privileged to have Lions Multi District 16 Governor John Schweska join us to present Chick with his Chevron recognizing 50 years of compassionate service. It was a humbling moment, filled with gratitude and pride for all Chick has done.

Congratulations Chick. We look forward to many more years of service ahead.
