🎉 Today is the day 🎉

Parade kicks off at 11 am SHARP!! Get there early for a great seat!

Parade begins at the Berlin Elementary School and proceeds through town back to the school! Please be aware of all road closures and adhere to all safety measures! Due to the increase in foot traffic through town we ask that everyone be extra cautious and alert when driving through 🚧

It is sure to be a fun time - with great weather ☀️, good friends, and a town full of patriotic pride 🇺🇸 You will not want to miss!!

We would like to share some important information regarding parking , float and traffic safety, and parade route planing….

🅿️ designated parking will be all over town including the parking lots at the Methodist Church, Baptist Church, and Seventh Day Baptist Church

‼️ Safety is our #1 priority! We ask that ALL participants take the following precautions ‼️

🚧 If you are participating in the parade please enter from Southeast Hollow Rd, and turn left onto School St or park behind the Berlin Elementary School.

🚧 After the parade, if returning to the school to dismantle your float please park in the North bound lane leaving the South bound lane open for any traffic!!

🚧 Route 22 will be closed from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm so please plan ahead of time and seek an alternate route. If you don’t that is ok too- park your car and watch the parade 😊

🎉 As always we appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this fun but hectic time!

A little look at what will be happening around town on Saturday 👀

🥞 free pancakes at the Berlin Baptist Church

🍪 💦 cookies, water, and bathrooms available at the Seventh Day Baptist Church

🥧 annual pie sale at the Berlin United Methodist Church- get there early they sell out fast! 🤤

🍗 American Legion - be sure to grab one of Wally’s delicious chicken bbq dinners. You will want to grab a ticket early, they are sure to sell out!

🎨🌭🥤 Face painting and refreshments available to purchase located at the Berlin Fire House- stop by with the kids and support the Stars program!

🎶 There will be several musical acts through the parade route! Be sure to check them all out- from the local chorus, to a trombone ensemble and don’t forget the Barbershop Quartet. It is sure to be a musical delight!

📚 Pie à la mode will be sold at the Library- a nice little treat on the perfect American summer day!

There’s lots to see and do, so come out the parade and stay for the rest! We can’t wait to see you there 😊

📣We are only a few days away from “The Big Day” so we thought we would take some time to introduce you to this years Grand Marshall’s.

Rob and Kathy Jaeger have been dedicated in their service to the town of Berlin since they moved to the area in 2002. Rob has been the Town of Berlin Supervisor for the past 18 years and was instrumental in helping to create the Taconic Valley Rescue Squad. He even spent quite a few years driving bus for Berlin Central Schools, volunteering with the Fire Department and Rod & Gun club, as well as teaching Hunter Safety courses for NYSDEC.🌲

Kathy has been a member of various clubs and committees not only through out town, but also the county! You maybe most familiar with her dedicated service to the Berlin Methodist Food Pantry ⛪️ or the American Legion Auxiliary.🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Their service to their town and country started long ago when they met while Rob was stationed in Texas. Serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Rob met Kathy on a chance blind date. A little over 90 days later they tied the knot, and just celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary! 💍🍾🥂Two weeks after they were married Rob was deployed and Kathy joined him in Germany. I guess you could say the rest is history! 🌎

Together they share two daughters and a bounty of grandchildren and great-grand children. We thank them for their endless dedication to the Town of Berlin and even our neighboring residents.

Congratulations on being nominated as this years Grand Marshall’s! 🌟🇺🇸
