Any of our wonderful volunteers that can come out tomorrow for the MD State Firefighters Parade in Berlin to walk alongside our stop offshore wind digital billboard truck please meet at the athletic fields around 130 or sooner. We will be handing out T-shirts for you to wear and flags to carry as well other items to hand out! Just look for the truck!

Hello Friends,

The Stop Offshore Wind Coalition (SOW) will be participating in the Maryland State Firefighters Association Parade in downtown Berlin on Saturday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m.

If you would like to volunteer to walk alongside our digital billboard truck which will be displaying our messaging during the parade, please sign up using the link below:

Once you sign up, volunteers will be provided specific instructions via email on where pick up a SOW T-shirt to wear and flags to carry as well as stickers and flyers to hand out.

Where to report:
• On site registration and staging for the parade will be at the Worcester County Athletic Complex (beginning at 10 am), 9906 Buckingham Lane. Please be there by 1:30 pm-This is where our volunteers can meet up with the digital reader truck
• From Route 50, go south on Route 113 to South Main Street. The Fire Police will be at that intersection to direct you into the Registration/Staging area.

Parade details:
• Parade begins at 2:00 PM
• The Parade route is approximately 0.8 miles long.
• Parade begins at the Berlin Welcome Center and proceeds north directly down Main Street and concludes at the Berlin Fire Company (214 N. Main Street).
• The parade will be broadcast live on the DSN/WBOC network.
• Food, drinks, free vouchers and entertainment will follow at the Ocean Downs Casino. This is where the prizes will be awarded.

We are excited to have our supporters walk alongside the Stop Offshroe Wind digital billboard truck during the parade!
