Update on the pea sale!!! Our semi truck driver blew a tire on the way down to pick up the peas so we're gonna be about a hour behind. We are estimating a 10am arrival to start the sale. I will update a closer eta when he leaves the plant. Thank you for your patience!!! And sorry for any inconvenience.

Happy to give back any way we can! See you Saturday!

It's "Thank you Thursday" and we're sending out an acknowledgment to the Berlin Kiwanis Club. They have supplied our clients with vouchers for a free 5 lb bag of fresh peas for at least 3 years now. The pick up is scheduled for this Saturday. We will be handing out the vouchers during our distribution time of 12-2 pm today. If you came for your pickup last week, just swing by the pantry and talk with a volunteer and we'll be able to help. Hoping the rain holds off for awhile.

Hey everyone! There's been a lot of questions recently so I thought I'd do a quick post. YES! We are working on getting everything set to have our Pea sale very soon!! We have to coordinate with the truck driver and the cannery to find a date that works for everyone. The 4th of July being a Saturday this year kinda puts a wrench in things but we will figure something out. Just out of curiosity, how would you feel about doing it on a Sunday instead of Saturday if that ends up being an option? Would love some feedback. We will post the date out as soon as we get it set! We hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Now that we’ve had a chance to rest after our Christmas Dinner, we wanted to thank everyone for all their help in pulling off another year of cooking for the community! We’re extra thankful this year for the food service staff at Berlin High School for all their help preparing 15 turkeys and all the fixings! We served almost 375 meals this year!
