Interactors complete multiple community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. They partner with the Salvation Army, Hungerford, and CCARC on many of their events. Interacts also fundraise to help contribute to causes they feel passionate about. In the past they have donated to: Feed My Starving Children, Guatemala Clean Water Project, Make-A-Wish, Suppor
t Our Troops, CT Humane Society, and various others. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships and learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work, and advancing international understanding and goodwill. Interactors also have the opportunity to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Conference at Springfield College (Sophomore year), attend the World-Affairs Seminar in Wisconsin (Junior year), or participate in the Rotary Summer Foreign Exchange program. Rotary also offers scholarships to eligible seniors. Meeting Times:
