Tie dye magic is officially GO, and we are READY to splash this school year with every color of the rainbow next Tuesday. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers for folding, bagging, labeling, ordering, spreadsheet counting, and more. Each of these volunteers put their love for all Griswold kiddos first ❤️

We’re gearing up for our unforgettable Tie Dye Day on Tuesday, June 9th and we need a crew of awesome volunteers to help us make the magic happen.

Volunteers will help with:
Color stations: setting up dyes, helping participants mix shades, keeping the creativity flowing
Design guidance: help fold spirals, stripes, bullseyes, etc.
Event support: welcoming guests, handing out supplies, keeping the fun rolling

Our favorite day of the entire year is almost here, and we are ready to explode with color! Tuesday, June 9th is Tie Dye Day, and it’s going to be an unforgettable celebration. Students and staff will be creating their own vibrant tie dye shirts to rock on the last day of school, AND everyone will cool off with a delicious frozen treat - all courtesy of Griswold Parents Club!! The last day of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week was in full bloom today! 🌼🍕 From pizzas stacked high, to desserts that disappeared in seconds, our halls were filled with good food, good laughs, and so much gratitude.

Thank you to every teacher and staff member who pours heart and soul into our school every single day. You deserve all the sweetness this week brought and more. To say we appreciate them would be an understatement. They make it sooo easy for us to celebrate them not only this week, but everyday. Spoiling them this week has been our joy and absolute pleasure ❤️

Today was a busy, BEAUTIFUL day at Griswold. We hosted our “Pawsitively Walter” Walk in support of BluePath Service Dogs, the nonprofit that trained our own Walter.

To celebrate Walter’s impact and support at Griswold, we walked together and donated all proceeds raised at Griswold today to BluePath’s 10th Annual Walkathon on May 9th in New York.

Today our halls were filled with color, kindness, and so many delicious surprises. To keep the celebration blooming, our teachers and staff were treated to bouquets of flower cupcakes that were almost too beautiful to eat. There was a refreshing smoothie bar to keep everyone energized, and the most heavenly pączkis, generously donated by a thoughtful Griswold family!

Every treat was a reminder of how much our educators pour into our students each day - helping them grow, flourish, and shine. Seeing our staff smile, laugh, and enjoy a moment of sweetness made today feel extra special.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, planned, and showed love.

Today our amazing team was treated to a Petal Power Picnic that absolutely hit the spot. Lunch was a delicious spread of sandwiches, wraps, pasta salads, and potato salads - the perfect springtime combo to keep everyone energized and smiling, especially on SBA testing day.

It’s been such a joy celebrating the people who make Griswold thrive. Their dedication, heart, and hard work deserve every bit of appreciation we can give ❤️🌼
