Our Annual Sausage Sale was a sellout success! 🔥🌭

Berlin showed up big time — from the grill to the hall, it was wall‑to‑wall smiles, sizzling sausage, and serious community spirit.

We’re proud to announce that the Berlin Lions Club has awarded five $1,000 college scholarships to outstanding students at Stephen Decatur High School!

Pictured here are Lions Club representative Tommy Hinkle with this year’s scholarship recipients: Clay McCabe, Matt Holland, and Aaron August. Not pictured during the ceremony, but also recognized for their achievements (and busy with lacrosse games!) are Addison Conley and Frankie Buxbaum.

Dear friends and supporters of the Berlin, Maryland Lions Club,

We regret to inform you that our highly anticipated 2025 Sausage Sale has been postponed until further notice. 😔

Unfortunately, we’ve encountered an unexpected mechanical issue with our refrigeration truck. To ensure the quality and safety of our products, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the event.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to resolve the issue and will announce the new date as soon as possible.

This Thanksgiving, we had the joy of celebrating with Boy Scouts Troop 225 of Berlin, MD. In the spirit of gratitude and community service, we’re thrilled to announce a $500 donation to support their incredible work!

Mayor Zack Tyndall Thank you to everyone who came out to National Night Out at Dr. William Henry Park. A special thank you to the Town of Berlin Maryland Police Department, Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack, and Worcester County Sheriff's Office for coming together to celebrate with the Town of Berlin. Thank you to all of the Town of Berlin crews who worked hard the weeks leading up to last night to make sure the park was ready for hundreds of visitors.

Last night, I also presented the Berlin Lions Club with a proclamation thanking them for their donation which allowed us to purchase AEDs for Stephen Decatur Park, Henry Park, and Visitor’s Center in Berlin. Now residents and visitors can enjoy our parks and downtown area knowing that this life saving equipment is only a few steps away.

We are honored to support our hometown.

Thank you to everyone who came out to National Night Out at Dr. William Henry Park. A special thank you to the Police Department, Berlin Barrack, and for coming together to celebrate with the Town of Berlin. Thank you to all of the Town of Berlin crews who worked hard the weeks leading up to last night to make sure the park was ready for hundreds of visitors.
