We are now accepting applications for a Grants and Contracts Specialist. The Grants and Contracts Specialist will support the administration of the organization’s growing portfolio of grants, contracts, subawards, and other funding agreements. This is a full-time, salaried/benefited, in-person position based at the MCBP office in Berlin, Maryland.

Welcome to our new Assateague State Park crew!

Welcome the members of the Maryland Conservation Corps and Historic Trades Corps 2026-2027 program year!

The Maryland Conservation Corps (MCC) is a program that provides members with opportunities for skill development & personal growth through a supportive, team-based environment, emphasizing the satisfaction of completing projects that benefit Maryland’s natural resources. The mission of the MCC program is to provide young adults with opportunities for service and professional development by preserving, protecting, interpreting, and restoring Maryland's natural resources.

The Historic Trades Corps of Maryland (HTC)--which launched for the first time this Fall--is dedicated to preserving some of the historic structures in Maryland State Parks, while training the next generation of craftspeople. HTC builds the skills of young adults in hands-on restoration projects while gaining exposure to a wide variety of historic trades, such as window preservation, historic masonry, preservation carpentry, deconstruction, and roofing.
