Come join our Assateague State Park staff and volunteers for a fun experience during your vacation. Our first public kayak tour will be June 30th. Check out the newly renovated Nature Center!

Most programs are free. If a program has a charge it will be indicated on the schedule with a dollar sign and the amount due. Programs such as kayak tours and paint night require pre-registration which can be done at the Nature Center. Because spots are limited, participants must reserve a space ahead of time

Friends of Assateague State Park will provide white Tshirts at Tie Dye Tuesday for a $5 donation for each shirt.

Have you seen the donated lifeguard station at the Assateague State Park DayUse beach? Donations to Friends of Assateague State Park provided the funds needed to renovate this valuable addition that will increase the safety of visitors to ASP. Lifeguards also received new jackets and sweatshirts!

The Marlin club crew of OC, represented by Nancy Kalin, donated $500 to Friends of Assateague State Park to support the education of young people with safe boating, fishing and water activities. The park will use this donation to purchase items for water-based recreation programs such as surf fishing and crabbing

Summer is here and Assateague State Park is ready for summer programs! This first week is still a "training week" for our staff so programs are limited. We will begin the full schedule the following week. Our first public kayak tour will be June 30th.

Breakfast is served starting bright and early at 8am daily. Your first stop straight across the bridge in the state park or an easy 15-20min bike ride from the national park campgrounds.
