Beat the Heat – Stay Hydrated!
During hot summer days, your body loses more fluids through sweat. If these fluids are not replaced, dehydration can occur and lead to headaches, dizziness, fatigue, muscle cramps, and weakness.
Common signs of dehydration:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Fatigue or weakness
- Dry mouth and excessive thirst
- Dark yellow urine
- Muscle cramps
Simple ways to prevent dehydration:
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day
- Include natural fluids like coconut water, buttermilk, ORS, and lemon water
- Eat water-rich fruits like watermelon, cucumber, and oranges
- Avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours
- Limit heavy physical activity in extreme heat
WE HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME, BUT REMEMBER, HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!!!!
