After alot of contemplating and wrestling with the highs, lows, good, bad, sometimes great, and sometimes not-so-great baseball world we live in, I have decided after 28 years, with the last 17 being dedicated to the Mid-Atlantic Shockers/East Coast Royals programs, to shut it down and move into the next chapter of life. What this actually means, since I am a baseball lifer, I’m not exactly sure, but I’ll have more time to spend with my wife, our new granddaughter, family, and friends.

There is no need to go into the multitude of changes that are taking place in the baseball world or my list of pros and cons that I’ve written/re-written over and over that have led to my decision to make this move. I just know it’s time.

I want to thank those Players, Coaches, and Instructors, who have worn our logo proudly and the many families who dedicated endless hours making our schedules fit theirs. Thank you for your dedication to Kim and I and your help in making the Mid-Atlantic Shockers and East Coast Royals programs the standard for so many years. As one of our long-time Coaches put it, we DOMINATED for a very long time and helped many through their baseball journey. We will always consider you ALL part of our family and and have so many great memories to cherish with each and every one of you.
