What does it mean to truly follow Jesus — not just attend church, not just say the right things, but actually live differently?

This week we dove into Matthew 5:13-16, where Jesus calls his followers the salt of the earth. Salt preserves. Salt improves. Salt is unmistakable. When you are truly living for Jesus, people around you should know it without question — at school, on your team, in every room you walk into.

But Jesus also calls us to count the cost. He does not just want our attendance. He wants our everything — our time, our desires, our plans, surrendered to him. That is what it means to be salty.

Do not settle for a faith that looks no different from the world around you. God has so much more for you.

Last Wednesday we celebrated our Seniors Night! 🎓
We are so proud of our seniors and thankful for the example they’ve set. They shared advice and encouragement with our students as they step into a new season of life. Please keep them in your prayers as they follow God’s calling.

Reminder: There will be no CY tonight or next week. ☀️ Summer at CY starts July 8th, and we can’t wait to see you there!

See you soon, CY family! ❤️
