Creating spaces for people with special needs to thrive. Sacred Ground is creating spaces for people with special needs to thrive at Grace Church in Berlin.

Mission- Cultivating an environment of belonging and purpose for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. We are a new nonprofit program for adults with special needs in East Holmes County and surrounding areas to come and connect in a faith-based environment. We are currently recruiting participants, staff, and volunteers to join us Monday-Friday from 9-2

🏁 WE’LL BE BACK AT THE FINISH LINE! 🏁

It’s not too late to sign up for the Amish Country Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on Saturday, September 12th in Berlin!

Sacred Ground is excited to once again be part of this incredible event! Last year, our participants served as the race’s finish-line cheer team, welcoming runners across the finish line and handing out medals. We’re thrilled to be back again this year! 💙

Sacred Ground is honored to be one of the nonprofits that benefits from the Amish Country Race. And the best part? As you cross the finish line, you’ll be met by people whose lives are impacted by your support!

You’ll see smiling faces, hear plenty of congratulations, and be reminded that every mile helps make a difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities right here in our community.

You don’t have to run a half marathon! Choose the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon and bring your friends and family along for a great day.
