๐๐ง Celebrating Women, Protecting Water! ๐ง๐
On this International Womenโs Day, we honor the strength, leadership, and resilience of women around the worldโespecially those fighting for clean water, healthy communities, and a sustainable future.
Women are at the forefront of environmental advocacy, from protecting our local waterways to leading global movements for clean, safe water for all. At Assateague Coastal Trust, we recognize the vital role women play in conservation, activism, and education.
Today and everyday we spotlight our Coast Kids Director, Verena Chase, showing her abilities and strength and to all the other women who have helped build our organization upward. Staff, Board Members, Volunteers, Colleagues, Donors, Members and to all our constituents! We admire and appreciate you!
