A huge thank you to Bill and Annette Johnson of A & B Hobbies & Cycles for joining us last night and teaching our Arrow of Light Scouts some valuable bicycle repair skills! 🚲

Our Scouts learned how to repair a flat tire and replace a bicycle tube. They really enjoyed learning from an expert and getting some hands-on experience!

Thanks again, Bill and Annette, for sharing your knowledge and helping prepare our Scouts for their next bike adventure! 🚴‍♂️🔧

🎉🧺 Basket Festival Parade! 🧺🎉

Our Cub Scouts had a great time walking in the Basket Festival Parade! We’re so proud of our scouts for representing our Berlin Heights Cub Scout Pack 236 and bringing their Scout spirit to the community! ❤️💙

A big THANK YOU to our Cubmaster, Bob, for pulling the wagon and helping make the day a success! And another huge thank-you to the Burnhams for generously letting us borrow their wagon. We truly appreciate our amazing Scouting families and community supporters!

🌳💪 Living the Scout Oath: Keeping Ourselves Physically Strong 💪🌳

One part of the Scout Oath says, "To keep myself physically strong..." and that's exactly what our Cub Scouts have been practicing!

At our outing today, Scouts:
🥾 Explored the outdoors on a hike
🩹 Learned basic first aid skills so they're prepared to help when someone is injured
🏃 Stayed active with fun outdoor games
🤝 Built teamwork, confidence, and resilience along the way

Being physically strong isn't just about running faster or lifting more. It's about taking care of your body, learning skills that keep yourself and others safe, and being ready for adventure.

Every hike, every game, and every new skill learned helps our Scouts grow stronger, more capable, and better prepared to help others.

We are so proud of these Scouts for living the Scout Oath and making the most of every adventure!

Cub Scouts Give Back to the Community!

This weekend, members of Cub Scout Pack 236 spent time serving others and making a difference in our community.

At our chartered organization, First Congregational UCC of Berlin Heights, Scouts helped:
🧼 Clean benches
📚 Tidy up the Little Free Library
🥫 Organize and sort food donations
🪥 Assemble hygiene kits
📦 Clean and organize the Blessing Box

Our Scouts also lent a hand at another local church by:
🌱 Hauling mulch in wheelbarrows
🌿 Spreading mulch to help beautify the grounds

Service is an important part of Scouting. Through projects like these, Scouts learn responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and the value of helping others.

A big thank you to all of our Scouts, families, and community partners who made these projects possible. We are proud of the hard work and cheerful service shown by Pack 236!

Yesterday, Pack 236 was honored to participate in our community’s Memorial Day Parade. 🇺🇸

Our Scouts proudly marched alongside veterans, community organizations, and local families as we remembered and honored the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the parade and to our Scouts for representing Pack 236 with pride, respect, and patriotism. We are grateful for the opportunity to teach our youth the importance of service, remembrance, and community.

Yesterday our Cub Scouts had the honor of helping the American Legion place flags on the graves of our veterans at the cemetery. 🇺🇸

It was a meaningful opportunity for our Scouts to show respect, remember those who served, and give back to our community. We are proud of their hard work, kindness, and reverence during this important tradition.

What an incredible night at our Blue & Gold Banquet! 💙💛

We had the honor of celebrating all of our Scouts and everything they’ve accomplished this year. Their hard work, growth, and determination continue to amaze us. This is what Cub Scouting is all about.

It was also a great reminder of how strong our pack community is. So many people come together to make this experience possible, and it truly shows in moments like these.

Our Bear Den (along with some awesome siblings!) had a great visit to the Huron County Sheriff’s Office this week! 🐻🚓

Deputy Cawrse gave the scouts a hands-on look at forensics, showing them how officers collect and analyze evidence. The kids asked great questions and even got to see some real tools used in investigations!

They also spent time with dispatch, learning how calls are handled and just how important dispatchers are in keeping everyone safe.

A big thank you to the Huron County Sheriff's Office for taking the time to teach and inspire our scouts. Experiences like this bring learning to life!
