We are so excited to announce the upcoming publication of our son/brother's autobiography! Book overview
For Castera Mastropaolo, there was only a little chance at surviving, let alone living. Enslaved as a child in the Haitian city of Port-au-Prince, he struggled from an early age with hunger, sickness, hearing loss, and the terrors of a city gone mad. His luck begins to change when he is taken to an orphanage and subsequently is adopted into a foreign family. There, he will have to contend with learning and growing in the center of the strangest of nations: America.
As Castera grows older, he will learn to navigate the troubles of school and hearing loss. He will experience the pleasures of sports, the frustration of growing older, and the joy of thriving. Cas 🇭🇹
