A throwback Thursday when Maggie was only half the size she is now and I still had room for her. I don’t think many folks realize how my one woman rescue is truly at capacity and I really need support to continue to grow with these animals. Humane agencies need my help now more than ever and owner surrender requests are never ending! Help me Help them! 🐾🖤

We haven’t tried Two Dollar Tuesday in awhile so why not?! These are just a handful of bunnies in my care and the requests to take more keep coming. Some bunnies have lived at the Ranch for over three years with zero interest. That being said- I hope y’all realize, that means I have to continue feeding, vetting, cleaning and buying supplies for them for the rest of their lives… most of the critters I take in end up living here for ever and most of them are not by choice. Some are very old, have health issues or aren’t the friendliest-so a little help goes a long way! Winter is coming and adoptions close for the holidays so if you want to keep me afloat- please please please help: tell all your bunny loving friends to adopt not shop! Put up a giving tree at your work if you’re allowed- start a supply drive with your friend family and/or coworkers. Put together a basket before our next raffle event Nov 7th - orrrr try the two dollar Tuesday and donate less than a coffee and let’s see how it all adds up!

These boys really want a home before the holidays!
I didn’t have any “Halloween Costumes” that fit, so we went with a Christmas tree and a reindeer! This Bonded boy pair of guinea pigs are sponsored by one of my donors, so their adoption fee has been waived! All you need is an approved cage set up and an exotic vet! They are approximately 2 years old. Previous Guinea Pig experience would be preferred because guess what, they are messy! They are guinea pigs and folks that don’t understand how messy they are, often abandon them, which is exactly what happened here.

These boys are very sweet and very easy to hold as you can see. They are pretty chill even when wearing a costume! They are really sweet and I really want to find them the perfect fit! Do you know someone? Please tag them or share this post!

Another successful Ranch Rental today! The best gift was that the rain held off for the entire event! Now THATS a Happy Birthday indeed! This was the largest group I’ve had so far and we still fit comfortably in the barn and got to try out the new picnic tables my mom picked up for me! The barn rentals are now closed until Spring as we start transforming the space into a winter wonderland for all your holiday family photo ops! Stay tuned! 🐾🖤 501(c)3 located in Berlin Center, Ohio

Thankful for the short time I was given to be with the 35 year old donkey of my dreams. I waited a lifetime to have him but he was already at the end of his life and ready to go. I wasn’t ready. But he was. I just hoped and prayed to have more time with him. He refused to get up, he wouldn’t eat. He started acting scared and running in panic nonstop for hours. It was so hard to watch. The last three days were the hardest days of my entire life. Watching him completely change his personality and struggle…. The vet could only do so much and after we tried everything we could, Devin laid down and told me that he was tired, in pain and giving up. I knew the decision I had to make for him.

The love I felt from this true angel on Earth will never be replaced. My entire soul is shattered. I need some time to heal myself. Please be understanding of I don’t reply. I have shut down intakes until further notice.

I am thankful for every critter that crosses my path and for the sanctuary animals aka “main characters” still with me at the Ranch but this loss has hit me harder than I could ever imagined.

Rescue is the hardest, most soul crushing life, but I chose this because I knew I could … all of these beautiful animals still need me, depend on me and make me laugh. I will love them a little harder today and everyday they are here. 🩶

My wish for wish list Wednesday is for you to read this!

🖤The gift shop is open by appointment and we have so many cute “grab -n-go” items available!
🩶Prime deals are happening now with many of my wishlist items on sale!
🧡LAST TWO FUNDRAISERS of the year are Saturday Oct 24th at Penguin City w bands and merch table followed by the very last time I will show The Rocky Horror Picture Show so please don’t miss this one! Swipe over for details
🍁 Fall/Holiday basket raffle at the Manor Saturday Nov 7th Noon-4! I am currently collecting Baskets for that and also any donations. You may have that I can make into a basket, gift cards, lottery tickets, anything goes please message me if you have something that could help this event be as epic as last year!
