Care Net Berkley Detroit Friends Care Net is dedicated to helping families thrive during childbearing years and to offer real choices to those facing unplanned pregnancies.

We offer free and confidential pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasound exams. We also provide support programs, and community referrals.

We are seeking a friendly candidate for our new Client Services Assistant (CSA) ministry position at our Detroit location. This part-time role answers incoming phone calls and greets clients who are seeking help with their unplanned pregnancy. When a woman comes to us, it's not just a visit; it's a journey. We first offer what is called a "Client Advocate" who comes alongside her, offering friendship, advice, and spiritual guidance. Then we also offer Parenting classes where she can meet other moms, connect, and learn child safety skills. In the meantime, we also provide baby supplies to ensure her child is healthy.

Here is a mom in our program and her children whom we were able to assist because of the support we get from our caring donors. Her 1-year-old has graduated from our program, and they are moving forward: happy, healthy, and doing well. Praise God. ❤

Recently, we held a very distinctive and touching group class specifically for those who have experienced pregnancy loss. We shared our stories and heard how to see God’s hope for each of us and our child. The group also spent time in the Hope Memorial Garden located at our Detroit location, created with love for those who come to us experiencing pregnancy loss. ❤
