Loving Spoonfuls of Berkley Loving Spoonfuls of Berkley is a non-profit division of the Friends of Berkley Parks and Recreation.

Loving Spoonfuls of Berkley is a group of concerned citizens of the City of Berkley Michigan that volunteer their time and resources to provide supplemental meals to the elderly in our community. Our group is made up of volunteers that deliver twice a week to approximetly 65 seniors within our community. Our goal is to provide supplemental meals to any senior in our community who expresses the need.

Observing Lent requires no meat on Fridays, so to help our seniors with these restrictions tomorrow we will be serving Macaroni & Cheese...Yum! Fresh made coleslaw will round out this healthy nutritious meal!

We are so lucky to have so many talented people helping us. Check out our new website www.lovingspoonful.net. AshDeakins Media is putting it together for us. Still under construction but coming along nicely. This is a very creative and caring young woman donating time and energy to help us reach as many peole as possible. It's beautiful take a look....

I had the pleasure of delivering meals yesterday with our newest volunteers. A big thanks to Alison Pilatti and her boys for making the committment to get involved! You guys did an awesome job and your help is definetly appreciated. Thanks again see you in two weeks !!!!

Chill is still in the air! Hearty chili is on the menu along with chocolate pudding for our seniors!! What better way to top off a meal than with creamy chocolate dessert. Tastes good and a great source of calcium!
