Our pantry distributions are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.

📝 When does registration open?
Our registration list goes live on Sunday, approximately two weeks before the next scheduled distribution.

For example:
📦 Distribution: Saturday, September 26, 2026
📝 Registration opens: Sunday, September 13, 2026

Our lists fill up quickly, so be ready when registration opens! Keep the link handy!

No waitlist: We do not maintain a waiting list. However, cancellations and changes do happen, so we encourage you to check back often for newly available spots.

💚 Already registered but can’t make it?
Please cancel your registration through SignUpGenius as soon as possible. This allows another individual or family the opportunity to take your spot.

Thank you for helping us make sure every available spot gets to a household that needs it!

Help support the Berkley Cares Food Pantry while enjoying Clark's Ice Cream. Gabrielle “Gabi” Makowski, Realtor invites you to enjoy a free scoop of ice cream when you bring a minimum of two canned (non-perishable) food items on August 23. Two items per person, please.

One thing we believe sets Berkley Cares Food Pantry apart is the care and thought that goes into every box.

We try to make sure each one includes something for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack—with a little variety along the way. Then, on distribution day, every household gets to choose from a selection of perishable items, including fresh fruits and vegetables.

It may look like just a box, but a lot of thought goes into making sure our guests feel cared for, not just provided for. 🧡💚

I should have written this post weeks ago, but…life got the best of me. So, a very overdue (but very heartfelt) THANK YOU is in order!

The Berkley American Legion Stanley J. Fons Post 374 has had our backs from the very beginning almost 5 years ago, and we truly cannot put into words what their support has meant to us ladies and to our guests.

Welcome our newest member to the pantry!

In fact, they are responsible for ALL 3 of the refrigerator/freezers we have had at the pantry! Every time we’ve needed to expand our capacity to better serve our guests, they have stepped up and helped make it possible.

This most recent refrigerator/freezer has already made such a difference for us, giving us more room to store the fresh and frozen food our families need.

To our legion friends, thank you for believing in what we’re doing, for showing up for us, and for having our backs from day one. We are so lucky to have you as part of our village. 🧡💚

Sometimes the most meaningful donations are the ones that come with a little extra thought, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

One of our amazing community members, Erin Brick, recently organized a unique meal-kit project. People donated either money, their time, or both to create shelf-stable meal kits that our guests can take home and easily turn into a meal for their families.

And look how wonderful they turned out! 💚🧡

These Chicken Skillet meal kits include everything needed for a simple, hearty meal. We’ll be sharing these with our guests as a special little something while they last.

We are so incredibly grateful to Erin and everyone who donated, assembled, packed, and helped make this project happen. This is what community looks like!
